SMA High Energy has been expertly created to support the nutritional needs of babies with faltering growth. It is a ready to feed formula for infants and young children who have increased energy and nutrient requirements, and who may be on restricted fluids.

Suitable for older infants and young children, in conjunction with solid food, up to 18 months of age.
Nutrient dense ready to feed formula.
Contains vitamin D and calcium.
Enriched with Omega 3 & 6 LCPs.
Can be kept in the fridge for 24 hours after opening.

Infants and young children who have special nutritional needs require medical and dietic supervision. The volume frequency of food tolerated will vary with the medical condition of the individual. Therefore, it is important to calculate individual needs and seek dietic advise on how to meet them.

Preparing your babies feed:

Wash hands well, wash and sterilise all utensils according to the manufacturers instructions.
If carton is damaged in any way do not use.
Ensure the top of the carton and scissors are clean. Shake carton well and snip and pour into sterilised bottle.
SMA High Energy can be fed at room temperature. If required to heated stand filled bottle in warm water. Do not immerse the teat.
Before feeding shake the bottle well, if warmed test temperature by shaking a few drops on your wrist- milk should be lukewarm.

Warning:
Never add food to the babies bottle, do not warm feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding.
Always follow the instructions given on the carton.
