Pro Plus Tablets contain caffeine, a stimulant that can help to maintain mental alertness and make you feel less tired, to provide relief from temporary tiredness in adults and children from 16 years.
It's been proven that staying awake can affect your response levels. In fact, if you’ve been awake for 18 hours, tiredness can make your responses up to 50% slower, which makes a huge difference to your performance. A two tablet dose of Pro Plus contains 100mg of caffeine, the equivalent of 1 cup of strong coffee, but can be taken anywhere, with or without water so no need to find your local coffee shop!
We all feel tired occasionally but if you feel tired all the time you should consult your doctor as you may have an underlying health condition.
Pro Plus Tablets are available in packs of 24s and 48s.
Adults and children over 16 years:
- 1 or 2 tablets with or without water, as required during the day.
- Do not take more than 2 tablets in 3 hours or 8 tablets in 24 hours.
- If you are also consuming food that contains caffeine (coffee, tea, cola drinks, chocolate), reduce the number of Pro Plus Tablets you take in a day. The amount of caffeine in a drink of coffee and tea depends on how they are made, but you can use the table below as a guide:
Food/drink | Amount | Caffeine Content |
Filter coffee | 100ml | 50-100mg |
Instant coffee | 100ml | 20-73mg |
Tea | 100ml | 20-73mg |
Cola drink | 100ml | up to 20mg |
Chocolate | 100g | 5-20mg |
Tiredness is not always caused by a lack of sleep or rest. There may be underlying medical reasons, so if tiredness persists consult your doctor.
