Evorel Patches

Evorel can be described as a form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It can be used to treat symptoms associated with menopause. Evorel, unlike other HRT treatments that require daily tablets, gradually releases hormones into your body. This treatment is suitable for those who have trouble swallowing tablets or remembering to take one every day. Evorel patches only need to be changed twice a week. Estradiol is the active ingredient. It mimics the female sex hormone, oestrogen. Evorel is available in four strengths: 25mcg-50mcg 75mcg and 100mcg.

The production of oestrogen gradually ceases in women's ovaries during menopause. The deficiency may cause a variety of symptoms including hot flushes and depression, sleep problems, dryness, osteoporosis, sleep problems, depression, and sleep problems. Evorel may be prescribed to treat severe symptoms. Evorel should not be used to treat osteoporosis, unless other treatments have been tried.

Oestrogen will only be needed to replace oestrogen if you have had a Hysterectomy (an operation to remove your uterus). You will be given a progestogen medication along with Evorel if your uterus has not been removed. Because oestrogen alone can cause excessive growth of the lining (endometrium) of the uterus. This can significantly increase your chance of developing complications like endometrial carcinoma. You may be referred to another medication that provides HRT and combined HRT if you have not had your hysterectomy.

The menopause is a natural part of life for all women. It usually happens between 45 and 55 years of age. Your ovaries produce less oestrogen as you get older. Although this can stop your menstrual cycle from occurring, the changes in hormone levels can cause a variety of symptoms that could have an impact on your day-to-day activities. Hot flushes, which is a sudden heat that spreads throughout your body, can cause blushing, sweating, and an unusually fast heartbeat. Night sweats, dry eyes, and vaginal dryness are some of the physical symptoms. Psychologically, the hormonal shift can cause distressing effects like irritability and insomnia.

The individual's experience with menopause symptoms will vary. These symptoms can occur up to a decade before menopause, but they may continue for years. Symptoms will typically last for around four years in women.

Evorel can provide relief from symptoms associated with menopause within just a few weeks. Evorel may cause you to experience bleeding and spotting as your body adjusts. If this persists after a few months of treatment, talk to your GP. HRT should be used as a short-term treatment while your body adjusts to menopause. Your GP should check your HRT at least once a year, and you should have regular gynecological checks.

Women who are otherwise fertile will not be prevented from having a baby by HRT. Women over 50 years old are considered fertile for two years, while women over 50 have a one-year grace period. HRT is not recommended for women under 50.

Evorel is a form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that treat symptoms associated with menopause. Evorel is a patch that, unlike other HRT treatments requiring daily tablets, gradually releases hormones into your body. This treatment is suitable for those who have difficulty swallowing tablets or remembering to take one every day. Evorel patches only need to be changed twice a week. Oestradiol is the active ingredient that supplements for female sex hormone, oestrogen. Evorel is available in four strengths: 25mcg-50mcg 75mcg and 100mcg.

Evorel provides relief from symptoms associated with menopause within just a few weeks. Evorel may cause you to experience bleeding and spotting as your body adjusts. If this persists after a few months of treatment, talk to your GP. HRT should be used as a short-term treatment while your body adjusts to menopause. You should consult your doctor at least once a year.

HRT does not prevent fertile women from conceiving. Women below 50 years old are considered fertile for two years after the end of their last menstrual cycle. While you are receiving HRT, do not use hormonal contraceptives.

Evorel is to be prescribed by a doctor. Follow the instructions of your doctor. Always read the information leaflet included in the medication packet. Evorel is available in many doses. Your doctor will try to give you the lowest possible dose to ease your symptoms.

Evorel is an adhesive patch to be worn constantly until the time comes to replace it. The recommendation is to replace the Evorel patch at least twice per week, preferably every 3-4 days. It is best done on the same days each week (e.g. Monday and Thursday).

Make sure you have clean, dry skin before applying the patch. Keep your fingers clear of the sticky side and apply the patch to the skin below the thigh, lower abdomen, or bottom. Continue pressing for approximately 10 seconds. Avoid putting the patch on the waistline as it can be rubbed by clothing. Also, don't apply the patch near your breasts. You can slightly change the spot of the skin every time you change the patch to ensure that the skin does not become inflamed.

You don't need to worry about the patches being able to withstand regular activities such as exercising, bathing, and showering. Press the patch gently every time you do these activities to ensure that the patch remains in place.

You can use Evorel on any convenient day if you don't currently use any HRT or if your current HRT treatment is over.

You can easily buy Evorel online without requiring to go to a local store or waiting in long queues at Pharmacy4u.

The general recommendation is to change your Evorel patch at least twice a week, preferably every 3-4 days. It is best done on the same days each week (like Monday or Thursday).

Evorel should be worn constantly until the time comes to replace it. Do not leave an interval between each patch.

Evorel is a female hormone that contains the active ingredient - oestrogen. There are many strengths available for the patches (25, 50 and 75 micrograms). Your doctor will recommend the weakest one.

You can always change the patch if you forget. You can apply the patch again on the same day as the original schedule, no matter what day you forgot to change the patch. Do not double up on a dose to replace a missed one. You should avoid using too much Evorel.

You should consult your doctor before using Evorel. Do not use Evorel if:

you have or suspected of breast cancer
you have cancer that is sensitive to oestrogens

you are allergic to any of Evorel’s ingredient

You have to inform your doctor before using Evorel if you have or have had experienced any of the following:

fibroids inside your womb
growth of the womb lining outside of your womb
blood clots or risk of developing blood clots

Evorel is an active ingredient medication and can affect or be affected by the following medicines, and you should consult your doctor before starting the usage of Evorel:

Epilepsy medications
Tuberculosis medicines
HIV medicine
Herbal remedies containing St John’s Wort
Other anti-infection medications

HRT medication may increase your risk of excessive thickening of the lining of your womb, cancer of womb lining, or breast cancer, so observe your breast regularly and inform your doctor of any changes you notice.

Blood clots are more common in HRT users than non-users, particularly in the first year. You should be alert for signs of a blood clot and consult your doctor if you suspect any blood clot.

The patch may irritate the skin
Breast pain
Itchy or irritable skin
Dizziness or headaches
