Evorel provides relief from symptoms associated with menopause within just a few weeks. Evorel may cause you to experience bleeding and spotting as your body adjusts. If this persists after a few months of treatment, talk to your GP. HRT should be used as a short-term treatment while your body adjusts to menopause. You should consult your doctor at least once a year.
HRT does not prevent fertile women from conceiving. Women below 50 years old are considered fertile for two years after the end of their last menstrual cycle. While you are receiving HRT, do not use hormonal contraceptives.
Evorel is an adhesive patch to be worn constantly until the time comes to replace it. The recommendation is to replace the Evorel patch at least twice per week, preferably every 3-4 days. It is best done on the same days each week (e.g. Monday and Thursday).
Make sure you have clean, dry skin before applying the patch. Keep your fingers clear of the sticky side and apply the patch to the skin below the thigh, lower abdomen, or bottom. Continue pressing for approximately 10 seconds. Avoid putting the patch on the waistline as it can be rubbed by clothing. Also, don't apply the patch near your breasts. You can slightly change the spot of the skin every time you change the patch to ensure that the skin does not become inflamed.
You don't need to worry about the patches being able to withstand regular activities such as exercising, bathing, and showering. Press the patch gently every time you do these activities to ensure that the patch remains in place.
You can use Evorel on any convenient day if you don't currently use any HRT or if your current HRT treatment is over.
You can easily buy Evorel online without requiring to go to a local store or waiting in long queues at Pharmacy4u.
Evorel should be worn constantly until the time comes to replace it. Do not leave an interval between each patch.
Evorel is a female hormone that contains the active ingredient - oestrogen. There are many strengths available for the patches (25, 50 and 75 micrograms). Your doctor will recommend the weakest one.
You can always change the patch if you forget. You can apply the patch again on the same day as the original schedule, no matter what day you forgot to change the patch. Do not double up on a dose to replace a missed one. You should avoid using too much Evorel.
