Zoely can be used as an everyday pill. One tablet should be taken every day. Each tablet comes in 28 strips, which include 24 active white tablets and four inactive yellow tablets.

You must take Zoely tablets in the order indicated on the pack. Start with the tablet marked one. Each tablet comes with self-adhesive strips that each starts with a different day in the week. These strips are meant to indicate when each tablet should be taken. Take a strip that begins with Friday, for example. The strip that begins with "Fri" should be used. Stick it to the top of your tablet strip. Now you can easily see which day each tablet must be taken.

These inactive tablets will get you to take one pill every day. You can then just take each of the four remaining packets back-to-back. This is different from contraceptive pills in which you take active pills for 21 consecutive days. Then, you have a week without taking any pills.

If you take the inactive pills correctly, pregnancy protection is still available. You will be more likely to remember to take the active pills at the same time every day. Zoely tablets can be taken with or without food.
