It contains natural shark liver oil which acts as an emollient, coating the skin with a soothing, protective layer, and yeast cell extract which also has soothing properties.

Preparation H Ointment is suitable for adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, and children aged 12 years and over. 

  • Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Apply freely to the anal area after each bowel movement and whenever you feel dryness or itching. A nozzle is provided for hygienic application, which should be cleaned after every use.
