    Benylin Children's Dry Cough & Sore Throat Syrup is specially formulated to relieve irritating, dry coughs and sore throats in children over 1 year of age. The soothing formula is non-drowsy and is a delicious blackcurrant flavour that your child will love.

    Benylin Children's Dry Cough & Sore Throat Syrup includes a double-ended spoon for accurate dosing.

  • Children aged 1 to 5 years: Give one 5ml spoonful, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children over 5 years and adults: Give two 5ml spoonfuls, 3-4 times a day.
If your child does not feel better or starts to feel worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist

  • Active Ingredients: Glycerol 0.75ml and Sucrose 1.7g.
  • Other Ingredients: Citric Acid Monohydrate, Sodium Benzoate (E211), Anthocyanin, Blackcurrant Flavour, Blackcurrant Juice, Liquid Glucose and Purified Water.

  • This product contains 2.15g glucose and 1.7g sucrose in each 5ml, which may be harmful to the teeth. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
  • Carbohydrate content of this medicine is 3.4g per 5ml.
Do not give Benylin Children's Cough & Sore Throat Syrup to your child:
  • If s/he is under 1 year old.
  • If s/he is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before giving Benylin Children's Cough & Sore Throat Syrup :
  • If your child has an intolerance to some sugars.
