CalCough Children's Soothing Syrup is specially formulated to relieve dry and tickly coughs and sore throats in children over 1 year of age. The soothing formula is non-drowsy and is a delicious blackcurrant flavour that your child will love.

CalCough Children's Soothing Syrup can be taken alongside CalCough Infant Syrup if pain and fever relief is also needed.

CalCough Children's Soothing Syrup  includes a double-ended spoon for accurate dosing

  • Children aged 1 to 5 years: Give one 5ml spoonful, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children over 5 years and adults: Give two 5ml spoonfuls, 3-4 times a day.
Do not give to childen under 1 year. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor

    • Active Ingredients: Glycerin 0.75ml and Liquid Sugar 1.93ml.
    • Other Ingredients: Citric Acid Monohydrate, Sodium Benzoate (E211), Anthocyanin, Blackcurrant Flavour, Blackcurrant Juice, Liquid Glucose and Purified Water

    • This product contains 0.8g glucose and 1.7g sucrose in each 5ml, which may be harmful to the teeth. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
    • Carbohydrate content of this medicine is 3.4g per 5ml.
    Do not give CalCough Children's Soothing Syrup to your child:
    • If s/he is under 1 year old.
    • If s/he is allergic to any of the ingredients.
    Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before giving CalCough Children's Soothing Syrup:
    • If your child has an intolerance to some sugars.
