You are allergic to linagliptin or any of the other ingredients of Trajenta;
You are under 18 years of age;
You have type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis;
You are allergic to any other medicines;
You are taking any prescription, non-prescription, or herbal medicines, vitamins and other supplements;
You have or had pancreas disorders;
You are pregnant, trying to be pregnant or breastfeeding; or
You have a habit of consuming too much alcohol.
