Premarin is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) that aids in relieving symptoms of menopause. Premarin contains conjugated oestrogens that act as a supplement to natural hormone levels. The production of oestrogen gradually ceases in ovaries after menopause. This deficiency causes symptoms like hot flushes and depression, sleep problems, dryness, osteoporosis, sleep problems, sleep problems, insomnia, sleep problems, sleep difficulties, and sleep issues. Premarin tablets come in three strengths: 0.3mg (0.625mg), 1.25mg and 1.25mg depending on the severity of your symptoms. Your symptoms and potential risks will determine which strength Premarin tablets you should take.
Premarin can provide relief from symptoms associated with menopause within just a few weeks. Premarin may cause you to experience bleeding and spotting as your body adjusts. If this continues even after a few months of treatment, talk to your GP. HRT should be used as a short-term treatment while your body adjusts to menopause. Your GP should examine your HRT at least once a year, and you should have regular gynaecological checkups.
Premarin is also used to treat osteoporosis and vaginal symptoms. However, you may want to consider other treatments first. Otherwise fertile women will not be prevented from pregnancy by HRT.
Each day take one tablet with water. As soon as you finish a pack, immediately start the next one. It will ensure that you have no days without medication.
You can start your first Premarin pack at any time if you're not currently taking an HRT drug or taking an HRT product that doesn't give you monthly bleeding. Start the course of Premarin the day after you finish the dosage of the previous product.
Take Premarin tablets as soon as possible when you forget to take a dosage. You should throw away the tablet you missed and resume taking the medication as usual.
Do not take more Premarin than is necessary. Consuming an excess of Premarin may show side effects like nausea, breast tenderness and abdominal pain. You should consult your doctor if you have such concerns.
