MaxioCel is a sterile, non-woven wound dressing composed of 100% Chitosan fibers. Utilizing Bioactive Microfibre Gelling (BMG) technology, the dressing is engineered to manage wound exudate by transforming into a cohesive gel upon contact with fluid. This maintains a moist environment conducive to the natural healing process.
