Wartie Advanced Wart and Verruca Remover are suitable to be used on warts that are located on the hands, knees, elbows, and fingers, as well as verrucas on the feet.

What is the cause of a wart or verruca?

Warts and verrucas are caused by a virus known as the human papillomavirus (HPV). This virus infects the skin that lines the inside of the body, causing the skin to thicken and harden. There are over 100 types of this virus and any of them can spread through contact with someone who is infected, or in surfaces that have been touched by someone who is infected. In rare cases, HPV can cause cancer in areas where contact was made, such as in sexual contact.
