Type 2 diabetes sufferers have a pancreas that doesn't make enough insulin or are unable to properly use it. Diabetes is associated with insulin levels. The diabetes sufferers have a higher insulin level, which Xigduo helps to control.
Type 2 diabetes is a chronic illness that can affect your entire life. However, it is more common in older and overweight people. You may experience excessive thirst, frequent urination, extreme tiredness or fatigue.
It is essential to manage the disease as it can cause severe problems for your eyes, heart, and nervous system. Xigduo can help you with this.
To lower the risk of an upset stomach, take the Xigduo with food. Take the tablet as a whole with water. It can be taken at any time, but it is best to keep your preferred time for taking it in mind.
One tablet twice daily is the normal dosage. However, your doctor may recommend a different dosage based on your circumstances.
If you forget to take the Xigduo tablet on time, then you should take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next tablet. Skip the missed dosage and move straight onto the next one, as you should never take a double dose.
If you take more Xigduo than you should, you should immediately see your doctor. It can cause lactic acidosis that can result in a coma.
