Topical Mirvaso gel alleviates these symptoms. Mirvaso gel, a prescription-only medication, causes blood vessels to narrow in the skin. It reduces symptoms of skin diseases caused by rosacea. Mirvaso Gel should be used every day. It is easy to apply. Mirvaso gel can penetrate the skin layers and work on blood vessels to reduce redness caused by rosacea.
Brimonidine is the active ingredient in Mirvaso Gel's topical cream Mirvaso. Brimonidine is responsible for preventing the symptoms of the skin condition rosacea. Mirvaso Gel works by shrinking the blood vessels of the skin to reduce swelling, redness and flushing. Each gram of prescription treatment gel contains approximately 3.3 mg of Brimonidine.
The Mirvaso topical cream can be applied daily, at any hour of the day, as long as there is facial erythema (redness).
Use a small amount of the gel to your forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and cheeks.
Smoothly and evenly apply a thin layer of Mirvaso to the entire area. Avoid the eyelids, eyes, mouth, and membrane of your inner nose. Mirvaso should be used only on the face.
After applying, wash your hands immediately.
Maximum daily recommended dose: 1g (five applications of the size of a pea).
Mirvaso Gel is compatible to use with other rosacea products, like Rozex. It is also compatible with cosmetics and makeup. These should not be used until the Mirvaso has been fully absorbed into your skin.
Use Mirvaso Gel on a clean face once daily for at least three days. Mirvaso gel topical gel 0.33% is an alpha-adrenergic agonist that is used to treat persistent, non-transient erythema. Patients aged 18 and over can use it. Patients under 18 years of age should not use this gel.
Your doctor should be consulted about the proper dosage and application of Mirvaso gel. Talk to your doctor if your skin condition persists or worsens. Do not try to self-medicate with drugs.
