you have uncontrolled diabetes, with, for example, severe hyperglycemia;
you have suffered from diabetic pre-coma;
you have a severe infection affecting your lung or bronchial system or your kidney;
you are severely dehydrated;
you have had acute heart failure or a heart attack;
you have severe problems with your circulation (such as shock) or have difficulty breathing;
you have liver disorders;
you consume an excessive amount of alcohol;
you have type 1 diabetes (your body does not produce any insulin);
you are taking insulin or an anti-diabetic medicine known as ‘sulphonylurea’;
you have or had a pancreas disease;
pregnant, trying to be pregnant, or breastfeeding;
taking another active ingredient medicine; or
taking any prescription, non-prescription or herbal medicine, vitamins, and other supplements.

Blistering of skin
