Jardiance Tablets Consumption Precautions
Do NOT take Jardiance Tablets if:
- You are allergic to empagliflozin or any other ingredients in the tablets.
- You have type 1 diabetes.
- You have severe kidney problems or are on dialysis.
- You are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Check with your doctor before taking if:
- You have kidney or liver problems.
- You are at risk of dehydration or low blood pressure.
- You have a history of urinary tract infections or genital yeast infections.
- You are taking other medications for diabetes, especially insulin or sulfonylureas.
How To Take Jardiance Tablets
- Take once daily in the morning with or without food.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Follow the prescribed dosage strictly; do not increase or decrease the dose without medical advice.
- Regular monitoring of blood sugar, kidney function, and blood pressure is recommended.
Warnings
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Jardiance does not replace insulin in type 1 diabetes.
- Maintain proper hydration while taking this medication.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you experience signs of diabetic ketoacidosis, such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, or difficulty breathing.
