Allevia Fexofenadine 120mg Hayfever Relief Tablets start to relieve the symptoms of hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) within 1 hour and last for 24 hours. Symptoms include sneezing, itchy, runny or blocked nose and itchy, red and watery eyes.

The active ingredient is fexofenadine hydrochloride, a non-drowsy antihistamine that is suitable for adults and children over 12 years.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. nCheck with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

  • The recommended dose is one tablet (120mg) daily.
  • Take the tablet with water before a meal.

Children under 12 years:

  • Not recommended.

  • Active Ingredient: Fexofenadine hydrochloride 120mg.
  • Other Ingredients:
    • Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
    • Film coating: hypromellose, povidone K30, titanium dioxide (E171), colloidal anhydrous silica, macrogol 400, red iron oxide (E172) and yellow iron oxide (E172).

  • Allevia Fexofenadine 120mg Hayfever Relief Tablets should not be taken during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.
  • Allevia Fexofenadine 120mg Hayfever Relief Tablets is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, you should check that these tablets do not make you feel sleepy or dizzy before driving or operating machinery.
  • Allevia Fexofenadine 120mg Hayfever Relief Tablets contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23mg) per tablet, that is to say essentially 'sodium-free'.

Do not take Allevia Fexofenadine 120mg Hayfever Relief Tablets:

  • If you are allergic to fexofenadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
