Zipamol Plus 8mg/500mg Effervescent Tablets offer effective relief from pain and fever. With a powerful combination of paracetamol and codeine phosphate, they provide fast-acting relief from moderate to severe pain. Method of administration:
For oral use. Dissolve the effervescent tablets in a glass of water before taking.
Adults over 18 years of age and the elderly:
Two tablets every 4 hours when necessary up to a maximum of 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Children aged 16 to 18 years:
One to two tablets every 6 hours when necessary up to a maximum of four doses in 24 hours.
Children aged 12 to 15 years:
One tablet every 6 hours when necessary to a maximum of four doses in 24 hours.
Children aged less than 12 years:
This medicine should not be used in children below the age of 12 years because of the risk of opioid toxicity due to the variable and unpredictable metabolism of codeine to morphine.

Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.

Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture.
This medicine contains codeine which can cause addiction if you take it continuously for more than 3 days.
If you take this medicine for headaches for more than three days it can make them worse.
This medicine can make you feel sleepy.
Do not drive while taking this medicine until you know how it makes you feel.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Contains paracetamol, do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine.
Talk to a doctor at once if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well.

Ingredients:
Each ZipamolPlus Effervescent Tablet contains 8mg codeine phosphate hemihydrate and 500mg paracetamol.
Each tablet contains 100mg of sorbitol (E420) and 418.59mg sodium (equivalent to 18.20 mmol).
