The active ingredient in XLS-Medical Max Strength Tablets is Clavitanol™, a patented organic plant based complex which blocks some of the activity of various digestive enzymes including alpha amylase, alpha glucosidase and lipase. This results in decreased ability of these enzymes to break down dietary carbohydrates, sugar and fat, leaving them undigested as they are too large to be absorbed in the intestine. Instead of being absorbed, they pass naturally through your system, helping you to lose weight.

As XLS-Medical Max Strength Tablets are derived from natural organic plant sources, they are naturally well tolerated and are gentle on your system. They are certified as a Medical Device Class IIb, which means they have been tested for both safety and efficacy. They also have a a well-established safety profile and tolerability. 

XLS-Medical Max Strength Tablets are suitable for any adult who is overweight, no matter what their diet. If you have a BMI between 18.5 and 25 they can be used as an aid for weight maintenance.

XLS-Medical Max Strength Tablets have no systemic action in the body, however the interaction with different medications has not been studied and may affect the absorption of other medications into the bloodstream. If you are on other medications we would advise you to take them at least 2 hours apart from XLS-Medical Max Strength Tablets. You should also inform your healthcare professional to ensure that potential additional effects are monitored properly.

Take 2 tablets with liquid up to 30 minutes before your 2 main meals of the day. Do not exceed 4 tablets daily.

It is recommend taking XLS-Medical Max strength for at least one month or more, depending on your weight loss targets. Healthy weight loss is considered to be no more than 2lbs a week and we do not recommend exceeding this.

  • Do not take XLS-Medical Max Strength if you have any known hypersensitivities to grape, corn or their derivative products.
  • Do not take XLS-Medical Max Strength during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.
  • Please consult your healthcare professional before taking XLS-Medical Max Strength if you are diabetic as it supports the reduction of food cravings by blood glucose levels. Diabetic patients may have to adjust their anti-diabetic medication to avoid hypoglycaemic attacks.
  • If you suffer from IBS, please consult your doctor before starting treatment with XLS-Medical Max Strength.
  • XLS-Medical Max Strength is only recommended for adults over 18 years of age. The use of this product by adolescents 12-18 years old should be supervised by healthcare professionals.
