Numark Chesty Cough compound of Glycerin, Lemon and Ipecacuanha is taken for the relief of coughs.

Contains:
Glycerin 0.5ml and Ipecacuanha Liquid Extract 9.8mcl per 5ml.

Dosage:
Liquid for oral use.

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years -
Take 5 to 10ml, 3 to 4 times a day.
Not more than 4 doses should be taken in any 24-hour period.
Do not exceed stated dose.
Do not take with any other cough and cold medicines.

NOT RECOMMENDED FORM CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OLD.

Warnings:
Do not use if -
you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have kidney, liver or heart problems, are pregnant or breast feeding unless on the advice of your doctor. If you are taking other medicines, check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years:
  • Take 5-10ml, 3-4 times daily.
  • Do not take more than 4 doses in any 24 hours. 

  • Active Ingredients: Each 5ml contains, Ipecacuanha Liquid Extract 98mcl, Glycerol 0.5ml.
  • Other Ingredients: Glucose, Sucrose, Citric Acid E330, Lemon Oil, Acetic Acid E260, Camphor, Ethylhydroxybenzoate E214, Propylhydroxybenzoate E216, Methylhydroxybenzoate E218, Amaranth E123, Ethanol and Purified Water.

Do not use Bell's Chesty Cough Oral Solution if you:
  • Are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • Are in shock.
  • Are at risk of seizure.
  • Have blood circulation problems.
  • Have kidney, liver or heart problems.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding unless on the advice of your doctor.
If you are taking other medicines check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Ipecacuanha Liquid Extract may interact with antiarrhythmic drugs.

  • Bell's Chesty Cough Oral Solution contains E123, E214 E216 and E218 which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
  • Do not take with any other cough and cold medicines.
