Metoclopramide

Metoclopramide is a prescription medication used to treat nausea, vomiting, and delayed stomach emptying (gastroparesis). It works by increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass more easily, and blocking certain signals in the brain that trigger nausea and vomiting. Metoclopramide is commonly used in adults and children under medical supervision to manage symptoms caused by illness, surgery, or medications.

Metoclopramide Consumption Precautions

Do NOT use Metoclopramide if:

• You are allergic to metoclopramide or any other ingredient in the medicine.
• You have gastrointestinal bleeding, obstruction, or perforation.
• You have epilepsy or a history of movement disorders without medical advice.

Check with your doctor before using Metoclopramide if:

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You have kidney or liver problems.

How To Use Metoclopramide

• Take the dose prescribed by your doctor, usually orally 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime.
• Swallow tablets whole with water, or use the oral solution as directed.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Storing Metoclopramide
