Joy-Rides Tablets are chewable, fruit flavoured tablets for the prevention of motion sickness in adults and children from 3 years. Taken 20 minutes before the start of your journey, they contain the active ingredient hyoscine hydrobromide to prevent the messages of motion sickness passing from the brain to the stomach.

  • Children aged 3-4 years: Take half a tablet 20 minutes before the start of the journey. Repeat dose after 6 hours if needed. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours.
  • Children aged 4-7 years: Take one tablet 20 minutes before the start of the journey. Repeat dose after 6 hours if needed. Do not take more than two tablets in 24 hours.
  • Children aged 7-12 years: Take one to two tablets 20 minutes before the start of the journey. Repeat dose after 6 hours if needed. Do not take more than two tablets in 24 hours.
  • Adults, the elderly and children 13 years and over: Take two tablets 20 minutes before start of journey. Repeat dose after 6 hours if needed. Do not take more than four tablets in 24 hours.

  • Active Ingredient: Hyoscine Hydrobromide 150mcg.
  • Other Ingredients: Mannitol, Erythrosine (E127), Povidone, Raspberry Flavour, Microcrystalline Cellulose and Magnesium Stearate.

  • Do not drive or operate machinery if the tablets make you feel drowsy.
  • Do not drink alcohol while using Joy-Rides Tablets.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking these tablets if you are taking any prescribed medicines; particularly phenothiazines; tricyclic antidepressants; or medicines for heartburn containing aluminium hydroxide.
  • Talk to your doctor before you take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not take Joy-Rides Tablets:
  • If you have ever had an allergic reaction to hyoscine or to any of the other ingredients.
  • If you have glaucoma (raised pressure in the eye).
  • If you are under 3 years unless your doctor tells you to.
