Possible Side Effects

Storage

Do not cover the affected area with clothing or tight dressings unless your doctor directs you to cover these areas as it increases the absorption of the medication into the body, which increases the risk of side effects.

If your doctor directs you to cover the affected area after applying the Elocon Cream, then clean the affected area of the skin before using the ointment. Use fresh dressing/clothing every time. For children, waterproof pants and nappies can be airtight dressing and increase the absorption of the medicine.

Elocon Cream can only be used topically and should avoid getting it in your eyes, nose and mouth.

Before and after applying the Elocon Cream, clean your hands well. Clean the affected area before using Elocon Cream.

Elocon Cream, like any other medicine, may have different side effects on individuals using it. Not every user may notice a side effect.

Elocon Cream may cause temporary itching, burning, and itching, which disappears once the skin becomes used to the medication. Notify your doctor immediately if side effects persist or worsen.
