Corsodyl mouthwash may be the right product if you need a mouthwash that:

It works by using its active ingredient, chlorhexidine digluconate, to fight off bacteria, yeasts, fungi and viruses that can cause many common dental conditions.

How and when to use this treatment

For best results, follow the guidelines below. If your dentist has provided you with different instructions, then follow you dentist’s advice.

Wait 5 minutes before you use Corsodyl if you have just brushed your teeth. Toothpaste can prevent the mouthwash from working. Wait a few minutes and rinse your mouth with water before use, or use at a different time of day for best results.

To treat gum disease, rinse your mouth twice a day with 10ml of mouthwash. Rinse for one minute before spitting out. Continue use for 1 month.

To treat mouth ulcers and oral thrush, rinse your mouth twice a day with 10ml of mouthwash. Rinse for one minute and then spit. Start the treatment as soon as you notice the first symptoms, and continue use for 2 days after the condition has healed.

To relieve denture sore mouth, clean and soak your denture in the mouthwash for 15 minutes. Repeat twice a day.
