Why People Use It

Losing weight is not always just about willpower sometimes the brain works against you. Mysimba targets the brain regions that control appetite, energy balance, and the pleasurable feelings triggered by eating , making it easier to stay on track with healthier choices.

It is prescribed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or those with a BMI between 27 and 30 who also have weight-related conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, or controlled hypertension.  It works best alongside a calorie-controlled diet and regular physical activity not as a standalone fix.

How to Use

Start with one tablet each morning. The dose is then gradually increased over four weeks, up to the recommended level of two tablets taken twice daily. Dock Pharmacy Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, ideally with food, to reduce the chance of stomach discomfort.  Never crush or chew them they are prolonged-release and must stay intact.

Things to Keep in Mind

If you have not lost at least 5% of your starting body weight after 16 weeks, your doctor will likely stop the treatment.  Regular check-ins with your healthcare provider are essential. This is a prescription-only medicine always follow your doctor's guidance closely.

Warnings

Do not take Mysimba alongside MAO inhibitors, or within two weeks of stopping them. Avoid it if you are currently using or have recently used opioid-based medications.  It is not suitable for patients with severe liver or kidney disease, active eating disorders, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Not recommended for anyone under 18 or over 75.

Possible Side Effects

The most commonly reported side effects include headache, nausea, constipation, and vomiting.  These effects are generally mild and often improve as your body becomes used to the medication. Contact your doctor if side effects persist or feel severe.

Storage

Keep in a dry place below 25°C, protected from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use this product once the expiry date shown on the packaging has passed.

Active Ingredient

Each tablet contains 8mg naltrexone hydrochloride and 90mg bupropion hydrochloride. 

Other Ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, anhydrous lactose, lactose monohydrate, cysteine hydrochloride, crospovidone type A, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, disodium edetate, colloidal silicon dioxide, and indigo carmine aluminium lacquer.
