A.Vogel Echinaforce Hot Drink is a delicious black elderberry flavoured concentrate that makes a soothing hot drink to help relieve the symptoms of cold and influenza type infections such as headaches and muscle aches, based on traditional use only. It is a THR registered herbal remedy containing fresh extracts of Echinacea herb (95%) and root (5%), along with Elderberry juice - extracts from fresh plants have been shown to contain almost 3 times more active substances compared to those obtained from equivalent amounts of dried herb.

Adults and children over 12 years:
  • Days 1 to 3: Take 5ml diluted in hot water five times daily
  • Days 4 to 10: Take 5ml diluted in hot water three times daily
For oral use only. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not take this product for a cold or flu for more than 10 days.

Dilute with hot water and make into a hot drink before use:
  1. Fill the 5ml measuring spoon provided with the product.
  2. Pour the contents of the spoon into a cup.
  3. Add hot water and stir.

Each 5ml of concentrate contains: 1,140 mg of extract (as tincture) of fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench herb (1:12-13) and 60 mg of extract (as tincture) of fresh Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench root (1:11-12).Extraction solvent: Ethanol 65% V/V. The other ingredients used are sucrose, purified water, concentrated elderberry juice, citric acid monohydrate, modified starch, medium chain triglycerides, potassium sorbate and ethanol.

  • Echinaforce Hot Drink Concentrate contains sucrose and ethanol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, talk to your doctor before taking this product.
  • This product contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100 mg per dose.
  • Although the data available suggests that use of Echinacea during pregnancy does not lead to any adverse effects, taking the herb during this time of life is not recommended. Similarly, use of Echinacea during breastfeeding is not recommended.
Do not use A.Vogel Echinaforce Echinacea Hot Drink if you are:
  • Allergic to products containing Echinacea or other members of the daisy family.
  • Allergic to Black Elderberry.
