Vipidia, an oral anti-diabetic medication, is used to treat type 2 diabetes.

you are taking an anti-diabetic medicine known as sulphonylurea;
you have a kidney disorder;
you have a liver disorder;
you experience or have experienced from heart failure;
you are taking insulin or an anti-diabetic medicine;
you have or have had a disease of the pancreas;
you are taking medications with active ingredients;
you are pregnant or planning to be pregnant; or
you are breastfeeding.

It is advised to take Vipidia concurrently with other anti-diabetic medicines, which your doctor will prescribe for you. Regardless of the treatment, you should monitor your feet frequently and follow the foot care advice given by your doctor.

Follow a diet and exercise plan to keep your diabetes well-managed.

Vipidia may cause the following side effects:

Symptoms of low blood sugar
Cold-like symptoms such as sore throat, stuffy or blocked nose
Rash
Itchy skin
Headache
Stomach ache
Diarrhoea
Indigestion, heartburn
Difficulty swallowing or breathing
Severe and persistent abdominal pain
