Women over 35 and those with a history of heart attack, stroke or blood clot should not use it. Women with certain medical conditions should be cautious when using Ovranette. If you require extra monitoring, consult your doctor first.

Ovranette should be avoided during pregnancy. Stop taking Ovranette if you think you may become pregnant. Contact your doctor immediately.

Ovranette hormones can reduce breast milk production. Breastfeeding women should not use Ovranette after they have weaned.
