Nexus Mini Ultra
The GlucoRx Nexus Test Strips are dependable, simple, and enable you to monitor your condition.
The GlucoRx Nexus Test Strips use an advanced GDH-FAD enzyme technology that avoids any interference from blood oxygen variations for more accurate blood glucose measurement and has no reactivity to maltose in dialysis.
The GlucoRx Nexus Test Strips are easy to use. Follow the instructions carefully:
Wash and dry your hands;
Prepare the lancing device;
Look at the 'use by date' on the test strip container, do not use test strips past the 'use by date';
Insert the test strip fully into the slot of the metre until it stops going further, and when the strip is fully inserted, the metre will perform the test;
Collect a blood sample, sufficient enough for the test to provide accurate results;
Touch the blood drop with the absorbent hole of the test strip, and wait
until the confirmation window is fully covered, the metre will start counting down;
After a few seconds, the metre will display your blood glucose level;
The last reading is automatically saved in the metre; and
Remove and discard the used test strip. After a successful test, the metre turns itself off 5 seconds after the test strip is removed.
Always clean your hands before performing the test and ensure that you do not have any visible or invisible signs of glucose residue from food or drink or any other way. It is important to perform the task on clean and dry hands. Soiled or sticky fingers may lead to falsely raised blood glucose and delivery of an incorrect high insulin amount.
Ensure to use a fresh and well-formed blood drop and take the test as soon as possible after lancing. Performing a blood glucose test with a blood drop that has spread or if you smear the blood drop on the test area increases the risk of contamination of the test that may lead to the wrong output of the test.
Ensure that only the blood drop comes into contact with the centre of the test area. Do not touch your finger with the test area. Try to keep your finger still as much as possible and avoid any trembling or shaky movements. Delaying the performance of the test or keeping the finger on the guidance tabs for too long may lead to falsely elevated blood glucose results. Be attentive to the beep tone. It helps you to obtain a reliable test result.
There are no side effects of performing a blood glucose test with GlucoRx Nexus Test Strip.
